To show my appreciation for your support of the classroom.
Stop by and see what's new at Room To Learn. There will be a special presentation by Thirty One Gifts on how to
use their products to get organized. Hope to see you there!
Room To Learn has a large classroom with excellent light, large
work stations and more design walls. Mats, rulers, ironing stations are all provided. If you do forget something
for class, no worries - it's probably there, too!
As an added convenience, there's a full notions wall
with Creative Grid Rulers, Frixion Pens - refillable, Misty Fuse and lots of other useful notions. You'll also
find the Bloc Loc Tools and True Grips. Need thread? We carry Aurifil and many of the Superior Threads.
Room To Learn, you will find a full schedule of quilting classes for all skill levels. Classes are offered during
the day, evenings and on Saturdays. Custom classes can be arranged.
Julia Ziegler is the instructor and is
available to help you on most any project you bring in! Julia has been quilting over 20 years and has been teaching
for over 10 years. Her classes are known for teaching technique versus teaching a pattern.
Learn offers all day, 6-Midnight Friday and Monday daytime workshops called TTQ (Time To Quilt) for those who need a large
block of uninterrupted time to get started on a project, move a project forward, or finish a project that's been stuck
in the closet.
Superior Thread University - A monthly project to explore all kinds of
different threads, different techniques to embellish your quilts and new possibilities with free motion.
We are currently on Course 110.
We have worked with many different threads learning about needles and machine tension. We are using threads we might
not purchase because we don't know how to use them!
Thread University sessions are monthly three hour workshops and we will begin new sessions on Saturdays
at 10am beginning April 12th.
Sessions will be limited
to 12 students.
Costs are $25 for Starter
Kit and $20 per course. For more details, go to Class Schedule.
