Block of the Month

Pick a Peck of Posies - Actually, it will be TWO blocks per month and they aren’t really blocks, but sections of a quilt – Peck of Posies. (No appliqué, all piecing). You will be able to purchase two blocks each month for $6 per pattern. Optional work sessions will be offered if you want help or time to make the blocks/sections for $15 for a two hour session. Sample should be ready by mid-November. Sign ups taken thru mid-December. Program to begin in January 2007 and end in June 2007. Stop by the classroom to see the pattern and to sign up!. The first session for the Block of the Month to discuss the pattern and fabric requirements will be Saturday, January 4 th at 9:00am . Dates for all other sessions will be provided at that time!

Block of the Month
	Mill City Sampler - A 6 month project; making five different blocks – using easy piecing techniques. Blocks can be set three different ways. You decide how many of each block you want to make. Blocks include: Clay’s Choice, Pinwheel Puzzle, Rosebud, Basket and Contrary Wife. The last class will be setting options and border choices. Good beginner level project. Cost $25 per class. (Pattern required.) Fridays – 10-noon or 6:30 – 8:30pm June 30, July 28, August 25, September 29, October 27, November 17.
	Twilight in the Garden - A 6 month project making six different types of blocks – using traditional piecing, curved piecing, foundation piecing and appliqué, A total of 20 blocks. A pieced sashing is included as part of each block. Intermediate to Advanced level. A bit of a challenge! Blocks include a log cabin, Star of Venus, Stardust, Jupiter and Saturn, Window to the Stars and 5 appliqued flower blocks. Pattern purchase required. Fridays – July 14, August 18, September 15, October 13, November 10, December 8. 10am – 1:30pm or 6:00 – 9:30pm. Another class on Mondays - September 18, October 16, November 13, December 11, January 8, and Februrary 5. 6:30 - 9:00 PM. Cost $25 per class. (See image below).
