I took this class from Jackie Robinson at the 2003 Road To California Quilt Show. We will be using her book, 3 Dimensional Sampler. We will make a wallhanging consisting of 4 blocks with Ohio Stars in the borders and sashing. We will use Ms. Robinson’s techniques to create a three dimensional look. You will learn on-point squares, flying geese, nose-to-nose geese, and half square triangles. These blocks are fun to make and very forgiving on the points. It is a different way to look at block construction. We will move very quickly in order to get them all done and begin work on the border. |
